2010 was the second year that the Workshop on Molecular Evolution was hosted in Český Krumlov, Czech Republic. The Workshop was held during the Winter break of 2010 and was attended by over 45 people from 20 different countries. The curriculum was designed to focus on two major areas in molecular evolution: molecular phylogenetics and population genetics.
The main session was held from 10-22 of January, 2010. This was followed by an “All Computer Week” which was attended by a subset of participants. This week is used by participants to work independently on their own data while the Workshop material is fresh in their minds, they are in an isolated environment and surrounded by members of the Workshop Team and other participants.
